Chad Gilbert from NewFoundGlory was hospitalized for thyroid surgery due to concern of possible cancer. He thankfully reports from his twitter that all is well and he does not have cancer.

A very informative documentary about a particular drum beat or “break” that was taken from a band almost 40 years ago as a sampling for new drum beats up until music today. This video describes how this particular beat has influenced contemporary music and how the soundscapes from hip-hop to rock have altered this beat into making it their own.
